Thickness Gauge is used to measure the thickness of leather and rubber.

Instructions of ISO 4648 Tester

1. Before use, install weights and probes of different specifications according to the needs of the measured object. Before the test, adjust the pointer to 0, and turn the knob several times to return to the 0 position before testing.

2. When using, press the pinch hand with your thumb to raise the upper probe, place the measured object between the upper and lower probes of the workbench, and then gently release the pinch to make the measured object contact. Is the thickness of the measured object. In order to make the measurement accurate, it should be measured several times at different positions of the same object, and the average value should be taken.

3. Contact pressure of different probes and corresponding required mass（Quote HG/T2041-2009）

Note: a. Quality refers to the total mass of the hammer, measuring rod, and test head.

         b. According to the requirements of different test methods, the thickness gauge pressure foot and the weight can be changed accordingly, making it a special or multi-purpose thickness gauge.

4. After using the instrument, put it in the instrument case and place it in a dry place to prevent moisture.

5. When packing the instrument, the weight should be removed to avoid damage during transportation, and then the weight should be screwed on the meter head when in use. Note: This thickness gauge cannot be used for horizontal measurement.
