Electronic Crockmeter is used to determine the colour fastness of textiles dry or wet rubbing, suitable for coloured fabric, coated, printed and dyed textiles.

Textile rubbing color fastness tester test steps are as follows:

1. Use a cutter to cut two clean, flat, wrinkle-free and damage-free samples that meet the standard size on the sample. One for dry rubbing and one for wet rubbing.

2. Place the sample on the friction platform of the AATCC Electronic Crockmeter, and keep the surface of the sample flat.

3. Set the load of the testing machine to 9N, the friction head to be a circular friction head, the friction speed to be 60 times/min, and the friction times to be 10 times.

4. Dry Rub:

Put a white standard cotton cloth (dry) on the friction head of the friction rod, put down the support rod, and rub back and forth 10 times.

5. Wet friction:

a) Soak a white standard cotton cloth in distilled water, and then press it to control the water absorption rate of the cotton cloth between 95% and 105%.

b) Then put the pressed standard cotton cloth (wet) on the friction head of the friction rod, put down the support rod, and rub back and forth 10 times.

c) Let the wet cotton cloth dry naturally at room temperature.

6. Use the D65 light source and the corresponding standard staining card in the standard light source box to carry out the staining rating of the dry and wet cotton cloth.

Result calculation or judgment:

According to the grading result of the sample, it is judged according to the standard.
