After rubbing the fixed number of times, observe sample and evaluate the coloring degree of white cotton cloth comparing with gray card, make judgments to the stain of the fabric sample or the stability of surface coating provide reference data for the assessment and selection of materials.

AC05B AATCC Crockmeter is suitable for testing the color fastness to rubbing and staining of various textiles (made of various fibers, dyed or printed yarns, fabrics and textile products, including textile carpets and other velvet fabrics).

Rubbing Fastness Tester mainly uses a sample holder to fix the sample and sandpaper on one side of the base. Shake the handle to make the friction head with white cotton cloth reciprocate on the sample with a specified stroke. After rubbing ten times, observe and compare and evaluate with a gray card. The degree of sticky color on the white cotton cloth judges the dyeing of the fabric sample or the stability of the surface coating, and provides reference data for the evaluation and selection of materials.

The Perspiration Tester is supplied as a stainless steel frame capable of holding up to 20 samples. The samples are generally 10cm x 4cm and are held between acrylic separator plates. The unit is supplied with a weight and a supplementary plate allowing both ISO and AATCC test methods to be performed.
